Tutor Me, Mrs. B

Stefanie Billette, M.S.

Private Math/Test Prep Tutor

I love seeing that proverbial "light bulb" go off for a student. My vast experience and passion (plus a healthy sense of humor) are what help me connect with my students. They enjoy learning math because I make it fun and relevant.

I earned a Master of Science in Management from the University of Florida's School of Business and a Bachelor of Science with honors in Psychology and a minor in Economics from the University of Richmond.
At UR, I served as a Teaching Fellow for two years, teaching statistics, psychological science, and research methodology to college freshmen. In graduate school, I was a Teaching Assistant, tutoring academically at-risk college athletes in mathematics.
In high school, I was a National Merit Commended Scholar and scored a 1350 on the SAT. I scored a 790 on the Math portion of the GRE. I was trained in SAT preparation at Kaplan Inc.® in Washington DC.
From 2002-2014, I taught middle school and high school math and college-level business courses. I earned National Board Certification in 2009. I taught for Orange County Schools, St. Johns County Schools, and Florida Virtual School and privately tutored math students in 5th grade math through Algebra 1 for 15 years.
